ABOUT MONTEZUMA’S

Founded in 2000 by siblings Helen and Simon Pattinson, Montezuma’s chocolates are an innovative addition to the British chocolate market. The company has expanded from its humble beginnings with a single machine to become one of Britain’s leading producers of high-quality artisanal chocolate. Bars, truffles, and gift sets are just some of the chocolate options available at Montezuma’s. They have storefronts in the southeast of England and in London, and they also operate a membership service called the Chocolate Club.

The COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t stopped Montezuma’s from planning for further growth and expansion, including the establishment of new stores and the recruitment of additional employees. The Absolute Black bar, which is composed of 93% chocolate and 7% cocoa nibs, is a prime example of the company’s dedication to quality and innovation in the chocolate industry. All of Montezuma’s packaging is eco-friendly; it can be recycled or broken down into compost.

Some have dubbed Montezuma’s “Britain’s Most Innovative Chocolate Brand” [4] due to the company’s forward-thinking approach to the chocolate-making industry. “Britain’s Greatest Little Chocolate Company” [9] is the company’s stated goal, while “Brilliant Chocolate. Done Properly” is the company’s stated mission. In addition, the organisation has undergone a rebranding campaign to more clearly articulate its mission and core principles .

At the end of the day, Montezuma’s is a British chocolate company that has evolved to become one of the largest independent British manufacturers of premium artisanal chocolate without sacrificing its dedication to quality or originality. The business has ambitious expansion goals and is well-known for its ground-breaking approach to both chocolate production and environmentally friendly packaging.
